our CAmpsite needs a warden 2024
Our busy Hastings campsite is looking for people who want to have a lifestyle change, the job comes with inclusive living accommodation.
The job is paid weekend wardening from May to July. We then rotate the timetable into 7 days a week with guests checking in and out through August the campsite closes in September. Suiting a person/s wanting a change of lifestyle looking for woofing experience in organic regenerative farming, the difference being we will pay you to warden the weekends giving you a sustainable income as your rent and bills are taken care of. We have a farm land rover that you can be insured onto, shops are in walking distance. Internet access is through 4G wifi the cabin comes with double bedroom, fully kitted kitchen and living space.
The job is varied and void of repetition, you have to be a person who loves and appreciates nature. Can work through wet, windy or blazing hot days. Be part of a team but be happy to spend time alone. Your duties are shared over the campsite and no dig farming practises.
We will teach you a multiple skills if you are interested in learning.
Campsite bell tents
We have bell tents that require popping up and down, cleaning and general tweaking
Animals that require your attention
Our flock of Ducks and Chickens will need feeding and looking after
No dig Veg beds
Our no dig vegetable garden will require watering and light duties
Flower farm
On the farm we are just starting our new flower beds, come and be apart of learning the growing and the business
Transport
We offer bell hop service as part of checkin and check out. This involves moving people equipment with a quadbike and trailer or Land rover. We give full instruction on how to do this and you are fully insured while opperating this equipment.
Shepherds hut
Our shepherds hut will require cleaning and bed making.
Dressing Bell tents
You have to have a keen eye for bed making, once taught we require you to create tents that are to standard.

You will learn about of eco facilities, you cant be squemish about what bodies expel in this job

does my partner have to work?
The quick answer is no. We know how many work hours are required, if you want to share the duties then we can train you both. Your partner needs to understand that your working and your accommadation exists because your working for us.
Am i paid for all the work l do?
You are paid for campsite related work, we know how many hours are required each week and month. Extra paid work will be available.
Do i share the living space with other?
The cabin will be shared with us, we respect that it is your full time space but from time to time we will also stay in one of the other bedrooms.
CAn i have holidays? Can i have visitors
You can reserve time off, we ask that you only take one weekend off from June to September. You can have guests stay and we offer alternative accommodation to help if needed.
