Family Holidays & Pop Up Campsites

The school holidays are weeks away and many UK based families holidays are being planned to  pop up camping sites. The tents vary in sizes and start from a bell tent starter up to a hotel package, which includes luxuries such as bedding, airbeds, and low-level lighting and electricity points. Additionally, we provide Glamping options such as our new Shepherds Hut (image above) There is also toilets and showers and use of hair dryers and hair straighteners, so a home from home really. The sites are located in some of the most beautiful locations in Sussex and close to suitable activities for family days out. So enjoy a wonderful summer holiday in great surroundings.

Knockhatch Adventure Park situated close to Pop-up Campsites

Knockhatch is set in eighty acres of lush countryside and offers a fantastic choice of East Sussex Adventure Park Experiences for families including a boating lake where you can a row boats and have a picnic whilst enjoying the various water loving animals, picnic areas throughout the park, go karts, mini quads, paddling pool, a Falconry Centre with a variety of amazing Birds of Prey, a petting farm including the Wallaby Walkthrough, Farm Animal Keeper Experiences, a large indoor play centre, outdoor adventure playgrounds, the fantastic Wave Runner waterslide, Quadapillar ride and Tommy Tractor Play Barn.

Knockhatch Adventure Park is situated close to our Pop-up Campsites off the A22, about 9 miles north of Eastbourne and to the west of Hailsham, East Sussex and there are always special events taking place such as the Knockhatch Easter Eggstravaganza with Easter Egg Hunts and Fun over the Easter weekend 3rd – 6th April 2015 and Father’s Day celebrations in June.

Additionally, the Knockhatch Ski and Snowboard Centre is located very close to Knockhatch Adventure Park and offers skiing and snowboarding fun and action for all abilities, Ringo Run, lessons, open practice, toboggan parties and more. They have an impressive 110m dry ski slope covered with the renowned artificial surface with a cushioned backing called “Powderpac”.
